Carrara tallied her first collegiate points in the Tigers' 2-1 win over San Francisco on September 26, as she notched her first collegiate goal. Carrara dove through the Dons' defense to head in the Tigers' first score of the game off of a cross from fellow junior Laura King. For the season, Andrea notched four shots with three coming in her effort against San Francisco.2005 (Freshman):<Br>In her first year as a Tiger, Carrara played in 16 games while earning two starts. Carrara made her first collegiate start in the Tigers' 1-0 shutout of San Diego on September 25. From the midfield and backfield, Andrea notched three shots offensively, tallying a single shot against Long Beach State, UC Riverside and UC Irvine.High School:<Br>Andrea attended Carlmont High School in Belmont, Calif., where she lettered in both soccer and softball. On the soccer field, Andrea helped the Scots finish in first place in the Peninsula Athletic League in each of her four seasons and to the CCS Championship in her senior season. For her play she was named her team's MVP, the league and CCS Player of the Year and to the All-PAL First Team in 2005.Club Team:<Br>Carrara has been a member of the Cal Northstars along with fellow Tiger Montez Harrison.Personal:<Br>Born in San Francisco, Calif., she is the daughter of Heidi Bojorquez and John Carrara. Andrea has four siblings, Isabel, Nick, Johnny and Alicia. She plans to graduate with a degree in psychology.
